"What a pleasure! I really haven't had hake & chips like this in years. The hake was fresh and tasty -I'll even go as far as to say it was juicy. But perfect. Nice (slap) chips, seasoned with salt and vinegar just the way it is supposed to be, and the portion served in butcher's paper. Talking about the portion- we both ordered the large hake and I got mine with chips. I've managed to finish half the portion, rest will have to wait. "We had the most delicious piece of fish (hake) and chips ever. Recomendation from someone and oh boy was it just amazing. The flavour was sooo tastey it was like you are having it in Cape Town. Fresh and melt in your mouth. I love my seafood and this hake was on point, wrapped in that paper with slap chips, salt and vinager. We ordered a large and the portion was big. We Will be back without a doubt. If you looking for a piece of fish as if you having it at the coast you have to try Fish Hook in Fourways."

"Superb Fish & Chips and I'm English so I know about this stuff. If you're not starving get only one small chips as it's big enough for two really. We got two medium fish, 2 mushy peas and two small chips and barely managed 1 portion of chips. If your just out for lunch. 1 peas, 1 small chips and 1 medium hake is enough for 2. Seriously."

"If you are looking for fish and slap chips the old fashioned way, wrapped in paper. When you unwrap the paper you are hit with that fresh steamy fish and slap chips. then this is the place for you. It reminded me of the fish and chips you will get at a small town corner cafie in the Western Cape. I ordered from Uber Eats, so I cannot comment on service or atmosphere, but I am surely giving them 5 stars for the taste."
